“She had the kind of brilliant,
decadent, Rococco beauty
that made his fingers itch to grab a pencil or a paintbrush.”
Who doesn't like a spot of
frivolity and whimsy?
This years
Christmas decorating theme of 'Roccoco'
was extended to some fun dressing up and elegance.
Once the idea was in my head... it just grew.
Many months of sewing
as well as hunting and gathering bits and bobs,
culminated in a couple of events
of ravishing Roccoco rowdiness.

With Spotify pumping out various Vivaldi
and other classical music from the boom box,
the stage was set
for our grandies and their cousins.
The event would not have been complete
without lots of scrumptious
food to eat.
I must thank our son-in-law, Josh,
for stepping up to the plate (pun intended)
and taking over the control of the kitchen at this time.
Everything was kept heated and ready to serve until it was needed.
I really do not know how I would have managed everything without you, Josh.
All of the 'wig wearing novelty'
did wear off after a while...
and so it was relaxation time, in the lounge room.
viewing these snapshots
of our Christmas Roccoco, 2023,
as much as those who participated
in making memories on the day.
Till next time.
Love from
Vicki.
