It's Christmas time once more.
For a while now,
a Marie Antoinette theme
has been playing in my head.
Thoughts of
Chandeliers, roses, bows, feathers,
and elaborate embellishments,
teacups and silverware,
masks and fans...
and voluptuous gowns, big hair and fancy shoes have been on my mind.
My idea of using only pastels
quite went out the window
as is evident from these lounge room photos.
:-P
So the dining room
totally strayed far from pastels
by the time I finally got to it.
oh well...
:-/
However,
the foyer stayed true
to the theme of pastels...
He is never far away.
Always in my thoughts.
I am forever thankful for the indescribable gift
that was given to mankind
in the form of a tiny baby
who would grow up to be the only hope we have.
So we wait eagerly for His soon return.
The family room was where my pastel colour theme
finally rested.
I am hoping to have
a part two
to my Marie Antoinette themed Christmas.
Fingers crossed I can make it happen.
Until then,
I wish everyone a Merry Christmas
and a blessed New Year 2024.
...with love,
Vicki.
